Actually, for whatever reason, the limit must be higher.  I have 313
items in my route directory, or, folder if you will, this includes files
and folders.

I'm not Larry, but I think that the max number of files that can be
stored in the root of any medium (CF card, floppy, hard drive) is 255.
This includes folders. In other words, the root directory can have up to
255 entries.=3D20
