  HI Scott,

Are the Audible files Type 4? If not, that is the problem. Bookport only
plays Audible Type 4 files.

  Regards,

  Don...

Hi, I wrote a few days ago about a problem I was having loading audible
files on a 1GB card. I replaced the card, and now the books transfer fine, but
when I try to play them, all I get is hiss. thinking this may be an audible
problem, I also put an mp3 file on the bookport to test the theory. the mp3
file has the same results. Could the mp3 player in the bookport be bad? Is
there anything I can do, or is it time to send my favorite device in for
repairs? I sure am glad i live in Kentucky now, the shipping won't take so
long.

            Scott
