Hello Pamela,
I am running the 32 bit ver of Vista, do you maybe know if this latest version
of the bookport software upgrade 2.4.3 will work with no problems for my
bookport since I am using the 32 bit ver of Vista? or does this 2.4.3 ver work
with no problems with only the 64 ver of Vista?
Once I have installed this 2.4.3 ver on my computer and when I start for the
first time this recently installed 2.4.3 bookport software with also my
bookport plugged into my computer; will this 2.4.3 software clearly step me
through transferring the necessary files that need to be on my bookport to work
properly with this brand new 2.4.3 ver of the bookport software? I think right
now I am running a much older
2.2 version of the bookport transfer software on my bookport. I would prefer
to please know the answers to these questions, if you can please help me out,
before I go ahead and find out through trial and error afraid that I might
damage my bookport which I really enjoy using and use all the time.
I have had a look at the bookport manual with unfortunately no luck to
answering the above questions.
Any help you can give me on these questions would be very much appreciated.

Yes, it is compatible, if you install that download. Any older versions are
not.

Can someone please tell me which correct bookport update version I need to
download from the American Printing House for the Blind
web site to make my bookport work properly with my 32 bit version of Vista.
Do I need to download the 2.4.3 version of the bookport software, so I can use
my bookport with windows vista with no problems. Any help with this would be
greatly appreciated. Much thanks in advance.
Ps. I do not have the necessary 2 question marks at the end of the 2
appropriate sentences because the question mark key on my keyboard just started
acting strangely after I did a Windows update. (grim)...........go figure, now
I will have to see if doing another Windows update will fix the problems I am
having with different keys acting strangely on my keyboard. It seems that
Windows Vista has alot of problems........does anyone know if maybe using
Windows 7 will fix my Windows problems.
