I rebooted, now the little beast is cooperating. So I guess my computer was
throwing a tantrum not the BP. Well if my bP pouts, my computer screams like an
angry toddler who wants candy now now now.

Make sure your BP Transfer starts when you boot your computer. You
can check in "msconfig." It is not necessarily required that the
software starts when your computer does. Mine is unchecked not
to. But if it isn't, it will not recognize the Bookport has been
disconnected. If you need more info, please feel free to ask. If BP
Transfer is not set to start at boot up, you need to connect your
Bookport first before you open BP Transfer.

Jeremiah 29:11 - 14.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen
to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your
heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring
you back from captivity.
