No radio for me please! Radio's can be gotten in a lot of places, but where else will you find a device like the Book Port? The other thing is that unlike many specially made devices for people who are blind, the Book Port is reasonably priced for what you get. Adding extras which can be gotten easily elsewhere, will only cause the price to increase. Just my thoughts. The added circuitry and code to enable tuning, etc., is what adds cost and complexity. This is a bad idea whose time has passed.=20 -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of albert griffith Sent: Wednesday, March 09, 2005 1:02 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: mp3's Jim, that being the case, I'd vote for the radio. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: "James Nuttall" <jnuttallphd@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2005 9:32 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: mp3's :I haven't been following the conversation. So the BookPort's=20 engineers could easily fit a FM radio into the BookPort. From what I could=20 see neigther size nor cost should be a factor. : : Jim -- Michigan : albert griffith <albertgriffith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: : We've discussed the addition of a radio to the B.P. before and I haven't : changed my mind.
