Hi:

Where are you getting these BRF files from?  Are they bookshare, web braille, 
or from somewhere else?  If they are bookshare, or web braille, could you 
please provide titles?  If they're not from any of those sources, would it be 
possible for you to send me one of the files offlist, so that we can try to 
reproduce your problem?

I thought I had done that.  If someone had asked me, I would have 
assured them I had uninstalled and reinstalled BookPort Transfer and 
still got the error.  Perhaps I did.

Per your post, I uninstalled/reinstalled BP transfer.  Maybe 
again.  It worked just as sweet as you please!  what a pleasure!
