If all the improvements possible are made to the soft and firmware and memo
recording is still really poor, a firmware upgrade would seem to be the next
step. I don't however, think it should be necessary to upgrade to receive
other enhancements to the Book Ports other functions. Users of note takers
are already conditioned to this process of rather expensive revisions.
