Hi Nicki and list:

With a bit of work, you can have a kind of play list. Just organise the songs
you want by numbering them and put them in a folder onto the bookport. Then go
into settings and set automatic file advance to yes. The songs will play in
order.

Cheers,
Dave

  Yep it would. I explain it that way, too. I put music on it sometimes, when
I want to go outside, sit, and jam. It’s perfect. I just wish there was a way
to make a play list. However, since the Book Port wasn’t really built for that
purpose, I understand why that capability isn’t there.

  Yeah, plus it's easier to explain to my geek friends if I say "like an iPod
for the blind" because they can understand that. And I do put music on it,
just not much.
  It would appeal to ipod-lusters like me.

  Hi;
  That is a good thought. They should perhaps consider market the bookport as
  an ipod for blind people. I realize this wouldn't sit well with some who
  are into serious literature but the fact remains the real i pods are almost
  impossible to use and the bookport is very usable.
