[bookport] Re: getting bp updates

I think we really need more details. That "General failure" message (which 
is a Windows message) almost always contains the actual reason for the 
problem. I've normally seen it in conjunction with a bad floppy disk back 
when I still used them (General failure reading Drive A). If she can get the 
complete message, it'd be a big help. Right now, I'm just guessing that the 
CF card wasn't recognized--it was inserted, I assume.

My friend connected her bookport for the upgrade and we got a message saying
"general failure." and something not complete, zero percent.  The bettery 
level
is high enough  and the option is set to download updates at startup.  What
might be wrong here?
