[bookport] Re: future of bookport

If you live in the U.S. check with your public library to see if they don't
offer a service which allows you to download current books.  the two most
common are, Net Library and Over Drive.  My library and those for many
others do and it's great.

There's no doubt that the quality of material from NLS is superior to that
from Bookshare.  However, it's nice to have quick access to so many books
soon aftter they are published--I like being able to read the latest
Patricia Cornwell, Greg Iles etc. at the same time that friends who share my
interest are reading them.  Generally NLS is slower in releasing titles;
Life's full of trade-offs.
