Did Larry's note remind anyone else of Lawrence Welk? That will insert a form feed character into Notepad at least. >>> ewers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Tuesday, June 28, 2005 2:21:11 PM >>> Well, I have been doing some research on this one. I can find no way in Word, note pad, or word pad to insert form feed characters. So, I asked a colleague who has all kinds of editors to write a document with form feeds in it to see if the book port would honor them. As Rob said, it does. Now, if I really want a form feed in a document, I can simply cut and paste one of the form feeds in the text file I have into note pad and guess what, book port does recognize the form feed character as a result of the paste to note pad. I'm selling these form feed characters for $1 per feed. I'm just kidding of course, but if anyone wants a file which consists of nothing but a form feed that they can use, I would be happy to send it to them as an attachment, off line, of course. Neal
