I don't even know what a "secure" card for the Otis might have been and I've never heard the term applied to CF cards. All you want is a plain CompactFlash card up to 2 meg in capacity. Any CF card you find from an online vendor will be Type I unless it specifically says that it's a Type II, which won't work. Do not spend any extra money for high-speed cards, since the extra speed is of no consequence with the BP. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of doris fisher Sent: Friday, July 22, 2005 11:52 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] flash memory I understand that the bp uses type 1 flash memory cards. Does anybody know if it matters whether the card is classified as secure? We'll be downloading audible.com books to the bookport and I know with the otis, you cannot use a secure card. But I do not know if this would apply to the bp. dory doryfish@xxxxxxxxxxx
