Walt,

Your response is overly harsh and assumes that all BP users have the same level of technologically-related computer/high tech skills and abilities. To carry your logic to its ultimate conclusion: was it "lazy" for sighted DOS users to prefer to use some sort of visually eye-catching icon as opposed to reading the text? Is it "lazy" for sighted people to use a picture rather than a thousand words? Seems to me if I can accomplish what I want with one or two steps instead of five or six, that is just plain common sense and efficiency, not laziness.

If they won't do it, then they need to be prepared to suffer the
consequences. We don't need a Book Port function that duplicates existing
capability just to cater to the lazy.

Of course that will work, but you're missing the point. A lot of people won't do it.
