Hi from Rob, thanks for that info. yes, the second card was empty as well. I never stopped to think about the root directory. I will try putting each left behind series in its own folder. Maybe that will make the difference.

You didn't indicate whether the second card was empty or not, but if not,
perhaps you have too many files in the root directory of the card. I assume
you're using the transfer program and not doing a direct copy by way of a
card reader.

Does anyone know what this is about? FFaph: FFmp3: error writing application
file. It is an audible.com file that I redownloaded after the first time
trying to copy, did the same thing again. All others before that file copied
ok. I even tried reformating the card. Could there be a problem with that
card? maybe my next try another card. Just wondered if anyone else had
encountered that one. Thanks. Rob
