I suspect this is correct, though the manual does not state this. It

I an not aware of any web location to find error messages for the BP. While I am not absolutely positive, I think I recall someone saying that DOC and RTF files use Word to open them in the transfer process. You might try saving the file as a TXT file and then sending it.
