I need a little more information:

What kind of processor are you running on your computer?

Which version of the firmware worked on that machine?

Can you backdate the firmware and make it work again?

I'm still having the same problem as well. I think the APH folks are still
looking in to it. I'm curious, when you disconnect your unit, does it talk
right away, or do you need to remove and reinstall the batteries to reset
it? Most of the time, mine locks up and I need to remove the battery for a
moment.
