Anytime conversion is done, it's done on the hard drive and then sent, it's
just that you don't really see it happening.
If you look at the Status bar, you'll see that Sending is the very last phase.

Rob is very good about doing things as efficiently as possible, whenever
possible.

Pamela is it possible to have the transfer program do the conversion on the
hard drive and then send the file to the bp? I think now it it seems to be
converting as it transfers.

the Book Port, there is a new feature which will allow you to convert text
to audio, throughthe software, using the voices on your computer. If you
are running Version 2.3 of the software and firmware, you can read about
these new changes in the User's Manual, under Send Audio in the Options
menu.

other SAPI5 voices? I seem to remember something being mentioned about
earlier on the list, but I'm not sure I caught it all.
