The thing is, I don't think the processor would have to be updated. The
search feature is at least as fast as that in the old Braille n speak, I
think we could put more features in the current hardware than some might be
thinking.

The processor could be upgraded, and those who wanted more functionality 
could buy the new and improved bookport. This, of course, may be bad; as 
costs to make the unit may be high, and if not many people wanted the new 
unit, then of course they wouldn't pull out the money and buy it. This would

be different on the other hand, if a lot of people wanted more functionality

then the bookport already offers. This would, however, or might, come in 
handy for those who read math texts on the BP, or just like a small, light 
calculator, spell-checker, and at the same time be able to read books. 
Actually, where can I find a braille 'N speak now, anyway? Its way 
out-dated, anyway.
