Subject: [bookport] bookport listserv suggestion

Given the last several weeks of monitoring this list, I am really very tired
of people thinking they have to call other people's well meaning suggestions
into question regarding their merits. Thus, I have a question which someone
will no doubt call into question.

Is it possible and/or desirable for APH to create two separate lists. One
for people who need help and advice using the bookport, and one for
suggestions where some people will no doubt take the list to a new low? I
would like to think that this would not be the case, but I must say that if
I had just purchased the book port and wanted to ask a simple question about
how something worked, I might not do so because of all the non-productive
criticism that has recently pervaded this list. I'm not sold on the idea of
two lists, but it sure is tiring to read all the non-feature related and
non-help specific comments that have been flying around recently.
Neal
