Apparently I'm a dope. I thought the reformat would work, but yeah, Pamela's right. Wire it up to ye old PC and the file will be back. Hmmm the bigger question is does the student understand the voice well? I never had a problem with doubletalk, but some people do. She would have received a confirm message I would think. I just stepped away for a second and, bam, it was gone. Thanks for such a quick response Carin. When I get back to work, I will reformat. A quick way to get it back would be to reformat the card. I'm amazed that she *could* delete it. I think she accidentally deleted the help file. If I press the help key it pops me right back in the file she is reading. Is the file stored on the bookport? or, is it stored on the CF card. How can I get the help file back and where do I place the file. I assume it would be on the root of the card? Thanks for any help in advance. Randy.
