Try this. With your Bookport connected, reboot your computer. What has changed since the last time Bookport Transfer saw the BP?

Well, it's not connected via hub. Maybe it's the batteries. I don't want to reformat the card, as I want to get data from BP to computer.

That's what we have to do. Our computer went from 6 USB ports working to
just 2, so I was constantly switching cables. Not fun! <smile> I bought Dale
a USB hub for Christmas, so I wouldn't have to switch out cables before he
could hook up his BookPort. After a bit of trial & error, we have the BP
cable plugged directly to the computer, and everything else (mouse, scanner,
printer, and the occasional jump drive) is happy living on the Hub.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity.
