Try this. With your Bookport connected, reboot your computer. What has changed since the last time Bookport Transfer saw the BP?

Our computer went from 6 USB ports working to just 2, so I was constantly switching cables. Not fun! <smile> I bought Dale a USB hub for Christmas, so I wouldn't have to switch out cables before he could hook up his BookPort. After a bit of trial & error, we have the BP cable plugged directly to the computer, and everything else (mouse, scanner, printer, and the occasional jump drive) is happy living on the Hub.
