Having just bought the Book Port I, I get a little nervous about having to buy a Book Port II to get the new features. Are there plans to provide an upgrade option? -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of PAMELA RADER Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2007 5:39 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: book port speach Hi David: Yes, it has been brought up and discussed many times. We can't make any changes to the Double Talk chip, nor to the Book Port firmware at this stage of the game. Sorry. Good suggestion, though. I just got my bookport last week and am thoroughly enjoying it. The one thing I would like to see is a user dictionary to correct mispronunciations, such as mah om for ma'am. Has that been discussed here? Is there a solution already out or in the works?
