Hi,
You don't need to do any of that. Just download your books in format 4.
Then use bookport transfer to transfer the audible books to the unit. You
will have to put your audibl name and password in to the bp transfer
program and activate. That's all there is too it.

Hi! I just got my bookport today and I'm trying to load books from Audible.
I already have an account but when I went into add new device I couldn't
find the bookport in the devicee list, or in add new devices in audible
manager.
