[bookport] Re: battery contacts

Absolutely right.  In fact I have a tape recorder that has used 2 
rechargeable batteries around a hundred times, with no problems with the 
battery compartment loosening up.  Likewise my Book Port uses NIMH that 
have been replaced a couple of dozen times by now with no discernible 
problems to the battery housing.

This argument seems ludicrous to me.
