Because of the design and hardware and firmware considerations, I don't see any way this could be implemented until/if the "new" BP is developed. It might not even require a new physical port, but only changes to the existing mini-B port to permit this, but I haven't _any_ idea whether this would be doable. Then, APH could supply the same little adapter cable that FS already supplies for the PAC Mate and connecting a thumb drive would be simple. An internal switching circuit of some kind would need to be developed so that either the CF card would have to be removed before a thumb drive could be used or, alternately, the thumb drive would override a CF card if one were already inserted. I like this one a lot. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DOC" <TALMIDIM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 26, 2006 3:42 AM Subject: [bookport] another feature idea How difficult would it be to create a port that would accept thumb drives?
