Sorry for the repost. I didn’t look far enough down my email list. Thanks
for the responses. Chase I’ll check on the version numbers for JAWS and the
transfer. Sandy, Yep, I named the folders, but jaws doesn’t believe it! I
don’t remember now whether I used windows explorer or named the folders from
the transfer.

Thanks again everyone and again apologies for the repost.

God bless!

Hi:

Here are a few questions I have so I can possibly test this here:

1. What operating system are you using?

2. What version of JAWS are you using, this includes builds (e.g: JAWS
9.0.519)?

3. What version of the Book Port Transfer software are you running?

4. Are you using BP transfer or windows explorer to create your folders?

Thanks,

Usually, when I have a problem like that with JAWS, I restart my computer,
and the problem goes away.

I don't know why..

Subject: [bookport] a folder question

When I’m transferring books from my computer to the Bookport and go into the
folder list, I can arrow down the list. The memo folder is read by name and
the rest of my bookport folders are simply called “unselected”. If I enter
on a folder it will tell me the number of books I already have in that
folder.I can download into it, but JAWS won’t read the folder list by name.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

God bless!
