Ok, I did so and no errors occurred during installation of BWR 1.3.0.0 and
transferring a Daisy with BP transfer 2.3.0.0.
But there was something else, during starting BP transfer it asked to
install 2.3.1.0, but after installation it remained 2.3.0.0 and asked it
again.

First of all, please update your Book Wizard Reader, we have corrected
that installation issue under Vista.

Are there any books that do transfer proberly for you?

There is some problem with BWR 1.2.0.0 as used by the current BP
transfer of
Daisy books.
In Windows XP (Pro) as well as Vista (Ultimate), I get errors, such as
"cannot find navigation points" (this is said by BWR for almost any
error
with Daisy).
The problems does NOT occur if I use a somewhat older (beta) version of
BWR,
1.1.1.4, neither in Vista nor in XP.
So, there is probably a BWR (and so a BP Daisy) and not a Vista
problem.

Chris:

Thanks for the feedback. We have not done a lot of testing with
Vista,
because it is still so new. However, we do appreciate the report. I
will pass this info. along to the programmers.

During installation of the BP transfer program I get an error it is
not
allowed to put the file msxml4.dll in some Windows subdirectory, even
when
logged in as administrator and run setup.exe as administrator.
Probably
due
to the higher protection level of Vista.
I replied ignore to the error dialog box, and installation completes
without
further error or warning messages.
I started the program with a connected BP, it was recognized by the
program,
and I observed nothing unusual.
I did not transfer something, I will do so within a few days.

In the meantime I request APH, to look if there is really a need to
overwrite msxml4.dll, and if so, what will happen if it is not done. I
saw
during a recent Window Vista update that this file was replaced.

FYI for those who works with a computer screen magnifier/reader,
zoomtext
9.1 beta supports Vista.
