Hi Dave, I doubt it would confuse the sleep timer as I have done it all amually by setting individual alarms throughout the day. Hi James and list: That's a nice idea. I'm guessing it would mean two additional settings in the settings menu, if it would work the way I'm imagining it. One setting would let you choose between internal and external beep for the hour announce. The other would be hourly announce, yes/no. Of course, I think there is some need to be cautious about adding too much more to the settings menu as there is already quite a few options there to get through if you can't recall the order of them well enough to intuitively know the fastest route to one that you may need to change with little or no warning. But from a standpoint of functionality, that would be a nice addition. I'd go a bit further and say that if it would make it easier to call it hourly beep, rather than hourly annonce, and it would mean that nothing was actually spoken, it would be even more subtle. Certainly, in that event, you need only press two for one beep to find out the time. I wonder what if any effect such an addition would have on the sleep timer, i.e. would that beep confuse the sleep timer? Hi folks, What do people think of adding in an hourly chime option in the settings menu switching between internal or external beaps? It would be handy, saves setting all those alarms.
