Karla,

Those are page numbers that the BP software tries to translate as a word.
Unfortunately, there's nothing to my knowledge that can be done about them.
Most of us get used to them in time and hardly even notice them now. It's
annoying at first but hang in there and you will most likely become immune to
them.  Lou

  Subject: [bookport] Web Braille issues

  Hi BPer's

  I've downloaded a few web braille titles from NLS and i've noticed a few
interesting character strings in the text of the books. I've seen two sets of
what i think are page numbers and sometimes in the middle of a sentence i might
find something like this;

  Jane likes cookies but ableiec not browniers.
   Has anyone lelse experienced this? Is there anything i can do about it.
It's interrupting the flow of my book and driving me crazier than I already am.
 Any suggestions?

  Thanks
  Karla
