Hi Pamela,

Thanks for replying to my eMail. Since I wrote that particular eMail I have changed computer platforms.
There has been no reoccurrence of the problem.

Thank you,

Stan Robinson.

Hi Stan:

I've never encountered that error message, so I have no idea what it means.

Where did you get this Daisy CD from? Do you know what version of Daisy it is?

Keep in mind that Book Port only supports Daisy 2.2 and 3.0. So, if it's 2.0, it's not going to go.

Also, make sure that you are running the latest version of the Book Wizard Reader. You can open up BWR and use the "Check For Updates" option in the program.

You might also try opening the book in Book Wizard Reader and see if you get the same message, or if it opens. That may tell us something. At this point, it's hard to know whether it's a Book Port problem or a Book Wizard problem, or none of the above.

Hi All,

I am trying to transfer books to my BP from a "Daisy" Cd. At the start of
the session, this msg appears: "Bad parament format". The screen indicates
the computer is getting info from the Cd.

No transfer to the BP occurs.

I am new to BP and have just perchased my first PC, after using a Mac for 23
years.

Any help will be appreciate.

Stan.
