Total Recorder is a simple yet effective means of recording Internet
broadcasts.

Subject: [bookport] Two questions about BookPort and web stuff

Hi all,

Several weeks ago, I learned of a hearing on Cspan that I wanted to catch,
but I was leaving my office in the next five minutes. Looking around for an
immediate solution, I grabbed my Book Port, pressed the memo function, and
placed it in front of my computer speakers. Hours later, I retrieved it to
find that I had a perfectly lovely three or four-hour recording of the
program.
Now, I'm thinking there must certainly be a more elegant way of recording
streaming audio for listening to it later. What have any of you done to
capture streaming audio -- on your computer for transfering to the Book Port
or elsewhere?

Second question: could someone give me the CLiff Notes for downloading web
pages for BOok Port?

Thanks all.

Deborah
