I am not sure what is going on here, but I have a suggestion that might =
work.

Go to device manager and remove the TTSMP3Player mass storage device found =
under Universal Device controllers. Note that you will have to have Book =
Port connected to see it.

Greetings lady and fellow Book Porters

I've recently installed the transfer tool onto two machines, both running
Windows 2000, and neither will connect to the Book Port. Both machines can
see the device, and it can be browsed and used as a card reader, but =
neither
installation of the transfer tool will connect to the device. The only
similar peculiarity of the machines is that they both have their hard =
drives
partitioned into two drives, lettered J on one machine and K on the other,
however both machines have vacant drive letters between D and J or K, and =
on
both machines, the Book Port winds up H most of the time. Before I
re-installed Windows onto one of the machines, I had successfully
transferred many megabytes of data between that machine and the Book Port.
Any ideas or common experiences out there? Many thanks.
