Mike:

It doesn't quite work that way. When you are selecting the range to
send, you can tell if you are sending through the end of the book,
because the last item in the list is <End of book>. But, it doesn't work
on the principle of sending multiple passes. You get a range, read that
range, then send another range. If you resend part of a book, the old
part gets replaced with the new part.

If there is a limit to the size of the dtb that Book Port Transfer will

transfer in a single go, how can one determine without disconnecting
the 
Book Port that not all the book has been transferred so that one can 
transfer the rest in another pass?
