[bookport] Transfer Software Feature Question

Larry/Rob,
I don't know if this is possible, but I am curious if the transfer =
software can be tweaked to significantly decrease the transfer time by =
doing the following: allowing the transfer software to create the .dd =
.aa and .ix files and quickly send them to the flash card which is in a =
card reader instead of the book port. The advantages would be:
1. no battery drain on the bookport;
2. much faster transfer rate;
3. DRM still maintained since files still only readable when card is =
inserted into BookPort;
4. If this creates DRM issues, make it so this will only work if card =
contains special key.
Just a thought.
