Thank you Pam!!!
Looks like we got it! There is only one MP3 file I am able send through
Book port. All the others are in folders and do not appear when I open
them.. Is this typical? I may have a faulty cable. Now all files
transfer, even from Kurzweil.
Thanks,
Sally

As far as Kurzweil not recognizing the device, we will have to look into it and see if this is something that occurred with the latest update. Perhaps I should have explained that whenever you reformat the card, it is normal to lose all files. That's part of it. Now, when you plug back into the PC, the manual will be put on again. Can you send files through Book Port Transfer? In the meantime, try to send an MP3 file, or even a book from the CD. Anything that will tell us if you can send files. It would also be helpful to know if you can see the Book Port in Book Port Transfer. To do that, plug in the Book Port and when the software comes up, press alt plus f and you should be able to see the files on the Book Port. If everything is working correctly, you should see the manual, and the notes folder. These are put there automatically.
