My intent wasn't to say APH isn't credible and I sincerely hope no one took
it that way. I simply passed along info that I got today and felt it
necessary to post to the list.

APH didn't lie to us here, they just didn't tell the full truth that BP2 was
dead and shelved permantly.

I like APH a lot and wouldn't hesitate to point anyone in their direction.

I was just disappointed that APH wasn't 100 percent up front with us here
when it was known the product was dead.

I don't know if the stream killed the product or not, the person at APH
simply stated that the stream was a great product and they didn't think they
could easily catch up with it at this point and time.

Thanks,

Rick

I have to say this is really quite interesting. Humanware puts out its VR
Stream. It's a little late coming through with an update and everyone is
talking vaporware and about Humanware's lack of integrity and honestness.
APH talks for over two years about a new Book Port II, goes on Main Menu
to extole its virtues, scraps the product, admitting that only after
someone else blew the whistle, and everyone is sitting here admiring their
integrity. I agree that APH is an organization of integrity, and I would
never hesitate to recommend them, but the variance is rather interesting,
that's all. I guess people like the companies they want to like and
despise the companies they want to despise. So it goes.
