[bookport] Talk Question

As I get used to the Double-Talk voice, I find that I can comfortably read
texts more and more quickly. On some books, I find that I can understand them
even at the highest speech rate supported by the Bookport. When I'm at this
rate, there seems to be a fair amount of dead space at the end of sentences
and/or certain phrases. I wonder if its possible to enable selections in the
firmware for either a)speeding up the rate of speech still further, and/or
b)reducing the delay between sentences or successive phrases. Sometimes the
speech is a bit choppy with the way in which it terminates sentences and/or
phrases.
