I would suggest that there are probably many people who use the BookPort who do not know Computer Braille. For that reason I would recommend that the notetaker should at least allow taking notes in Grade 1 literary Braille so that the expected symbols such as dot 6 for capitol, dots 2, 5, 6 used for period, would be used. Grade 2 would be nice, but if memory is an issue then I would hope that at least Grade 1 could be accomplished. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary King" <w4wkz@xxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2005 4:41 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: Suggestion to send emails to BP : Which doesn't mean that the note taking function can't be improved. As : Larry said, let the suggestions be made. If we ask, and the APH team thinks : it can be done, then it probably will be done. : : Gary King, w4wkz@xxxxxxxx : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Richard Ring" <ring.richard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> : To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> : Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2005 4:30 PM : Subject: [bookport] Re: Suggestion to send emails to BP : : : > Yes, Tyler is on the money here.
