To you Larry, and to Richard,

The idea of a radio is fine, but if APH decides to include one I hope the
reception is better than on the new BrailleNotes. Find some way to have an
antenna without depending on the earphone. My experience with the FM radio in
the BrailleNote is that the reception is so poor that even turning on the voice
recorder in the BrailleNote will seriously interfer with reception. I got a FM
radio at CSUN last spring as a free giveaway at a booth that has better
reception.

It doesn't make much sense to have a feature if that feature is so poor that it
is almost unusable.

: Just to recap, this list is the place to express your ideas about cool
: new things you'd like to see Book Port do. It doesn't mean we can do
: everyone of them, but be assured, we are keeping track of them, and we
: pay attention.
:
: Certainly, other people will express their opinion about what they like
: and don't like, and that's great, to. What we do not want to do on this
: list is get into a war about why this or that idea is good or bad.
: Let's just gather the ideas and leave the personal comments to
: ourselves.

: If it's ok to make suggestions, it's also ok to express your opinion
: of
: such suggestions.
: I have all the FM radios I need, so I won't use the feature.
: That doesn't mean that I don't feel that anyone doesn't have a perfect
: right to suggest any feature they'd like to see.
