there is only the notes folder. the only other item is the text file in the root of the cf card that i had been reading before. And it di dnot go back to that after I did the *+0 command and when ppushing the pound key, it just told me that there were no files in the notes folder.
Thanks for the advice. Doris At 06:44 AM 8/29/2008 -0400, you wrote:
After closing the notes folder with star plus 0, hit the pound key to go to the next unopened folder. It won't tell you that you are closing the folder with star plus 0, but it will close the folder. The *+0 command does not work. When I push the buttons, it announces the name of the "notes" folder but then the next keystroke wil tell me again that there are no files in the notes folder. So how do I get out of the notes folder? is there another command besides the *+0 that I can try, like something to get me back in the root directory where I have the text file I was reading and working with? Thanks much for any help and your patience with my newbie questions. Cheers, Doris
