I'm sorry, maybe I didn't quite describe the problem right. It's in the BP
itself, where the headphones plug in. When the headphones are plugged in,
you can actually wiggle the connector from side to side and it shouldn't do
that. I think that as I've had the unit in a pocket, or clipped to a belt,
it's gotten pressure on the connector as I bend and move, and it's made the
spot where the headphones plug in wobbly. The audio connection within the
unit is loose. I was trying to suggest a small flange on the BP itself to
keep it from happening.
    And, no, the headphones aren't a problem. I do use over-the-ear ones,
and I've been through a couple sets. They work perfectly with anything else,
just not the BP. I've also tried 5 or 6 different pairs of headphones. The
problem is not in the headphones or their cord, it's in the BP.
