I have never had the speech jump back spontaneously while reading.  I have
occasionally noticed it jump back slightly when I check the status or the
battery level.  I notice this with Web Braille books.

Well, I, too, have noticed sporatic jumping back, usually only several
paragraphs, always in .txt type files, those being almost the only type I
read. It does not happen frequently, however, once or twice every 500 pages
I would say.
