[bookport] Software Update?

Hi all. I already sent a message to Larry regarding this subject. I
thought I'd run it past you all though.
I went to the options dialog as directed by Larry's post and attempted to
update the software by pressing the software button and was told no update
was available. I had already updated the software earlier this morning so I
thought that perhaps a newer update had been posted. Why were we directed
to update the software in this manner when there was no update available?
I'm puzzled, hmmm.
