[bookport] Re: Slow Mp3 files

Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas.

One thing, I wouldn't hesitate about the betas. We are very confident of =
this code and hope, with a few small changes, to release this very code =
this week.

Also, I didn't see if you had tried other mp3 files on the unit.

This is a great list, (she says after only being subscribed for about =3D
two hours), there's been a lot of good input. Thank goodness, my own =3D
personal BookPort is resting safe at home, so I won't be without it. On =
=3D
the other hand, I find myself in the position of having to explain this =
=3D
stupid problem to my boss. Makes me wish it wasn't work-related, =3D
almost!
I have removed the CF card and both batteries, and the unit can languish =
=3D
all night in my desk drawer and we'll hope for a resurrection when I get =
=3D
here in the morning. I'm not that optimistic, but a little optimism =3D
goes a long way.

I would like to thank everyone who tried to help Rich Ring and I solve =3D
this problem, you guys were great!

Thank you,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Probably won't make much difference if you remove the flash card or not.
Maybe Larry or someone else will chime in here with something that will =
=3D
save
the day.

I know, I too cringe over the thought of giving mine up for any period =3D
of
time now.

This is a pretty amazing community of talented folks isn't it?

Good luck.

Rich
