If it did this under 2 different firmware releases chances are that the problem is independent of the firmware. There's a very very small chance that if you take the batteries out and leave it with the power interrupted for an extended period it may = straighten out but I doubt it. I'm sure some of the APH folks will sort through all of this and come up with another idea or the call to return it. Sounds like a neat project you've got underway. Sorry for the glitch.
