I use cdx to rip, then rename the different tracks of a book that is in several cd's. Once all the tracks are renamed, then I put them all into one folder to put on the book port. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Clark" <rclark0276@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [bookport] Ripping audio files

It looks like using Windows Media Player 11 to rip audio into mp3 for the BP is not the best choice. What do some of you use? Audio Grabber? I think that is the utility that has been suggested but not sure.

Also, how do you handle ripping say an audio book that is on several cd's and each contains the same file names? WMP will overwrite in such cases so I need to find a better solution.

Lastly, what is a good way to put these files on BP. Do you put all the files from one audio book into a single folder? For exmaple, a Harry Potter book that comes on 7 cd's. Thanks.
