I think Mario has identified the problem. It actually fails when you use } instead of ]. We should be getting a patch up soon. Thanks for finding this. >>> norm@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Monday, August 28, 2006 12:27:59 PM >>> Larry, Thanks for your easy test. I tried the following in NotePad: su6 ro2 da7 di6 . Then in the BP transfer program I pointed at the file and hit alt-P. Here is what I found: su! ro; da) di!. Then, back in NotePad, I entered: su6[ su6] This time in the transfer program I got: suffow suffer So now I am really confused! The files I have created on the Millennium 40 in contracted Braille, and saved with a .brf extention, seem always to end up with su6er for suffer, ro2er for robber, etc, etc. This happens whether I entered the files as contracted Braille from the keyboard, or whether the file was a text file which I then translated to a contracted Braille file with the Quick Braille program. Anxious for enlightenment... norm gardner At 06:16 AM 8/28/2006, you wrote: >Apparently, there is a component on your system that is not getting >updated properly, because those reverses are working fine on the tests >we run.
