Since the Bookport already has a Braille-entry system, one wouldn't 
really need an external keyboard to enter data, just as one can enter 
data on a Palm using Graffiti rather than with a keyboard. Of course, a 
keyboard really speeds things up.

I think the BookPort is already about 80% there - there is a functioning 
Braille keyboard built-in, and the only thing that is missing is the 
ability to save what is entered to a text file. At present text which is 
entered is saved to volatile RAM, which is unfortunately erased when the 
BookPort is reset.

Once the engineers can figure out how to save text to a file on the 
Bookport, presto, your prayers have been answered.
