I find it very convenient to use metal-hydride batteries. I have a very
small recharger which will automatically adjust to metal huydride or NiCd
batteries (I have a very few NiCds left), and use them in my bookport,
shaver, and other appliances. Most take AAs, while my cordless headphones
and sound-suppressing headphones take AAAs, which the charger will also
handle.
