Thanks, Rik, and everyone else on the list who helped with the RFBD authorization question.

If someone has those steps formulated, it would be great to have them. I ordered a copy of the key today (free till December !) and look forward to instaling it.

Thanks again,

-Hengameh

Hengameh,

Heck, no - this is not a question at all that is too simple, at least not to
me!
I remember getting help from this list a while back when I did it.

After you purchase the RFB&D's AudioPlus authoriization key, the
installation is a bit strange and tricky as there are several steps. With
some help from Pamela Rader last summer, I was able to get my pc and my Book
Port installations done and am reading now the RFB&D books.

After you get your key on the CD, perhaps check in with the list here for
more help, or make sure and get the detailed step by step instructions from
RFB & D.

Also, you will need your RFB & D username and information handy to do the
installation, and you need to be online at the time to complete the process. I remember there was like a final step before the installation was complete
which was a bit unclear and when I understood about that, it all sailed
through fine.

Trick is for me, I can't always remember all those steps months or years
later. (grin) So if someone has those steps written down, maybe they will
put them up to the discussion group here.

I do like very much using the Book Port for the RFB & D books.

Thanks.
Rik

Subject: [bookport] Question regarding RFBD CDs on Book Port

Hi List,

Sorry if this question sounds too simple-minded for many on the list, but
I'm new to Book Port and still adjusting. I've been trying to put my hands
on the appropriate software to play RFBD CDs on Book Port and have called
the RFBD technical team as well. After quite a few trials and ending up
with leaving messages which remained unanswered, I finally got an answer
that I would have to purchase their Victor software (about $75)and instal on
my Book Port. That sounded somehow strange. Could someone help? I need
to get a software to play their CDs both on Book Port and on my computer,
but I suppose the latter is off topic here. Any help would greatly be
appreciated.

I have a scala bluetooth headset. Do I need to get a plantronics
headset or does anyone know if I could just order the adapter?
